this is posted by Nura Musa Bako, sahatussibyan it is an islamiyya school located at ayagi kano no i83a, with students Nura Musa Bako,Musa Kabiru sani, and sani Kbiru Sani.the propriator of the school is mal Kabiru sani Ayagi,and the head master of the school is Mahmud mukhtar Umar. the school opened on 13 may 1991,and and the school has more than 5000 students. The purpose of the school is to produce the students who memorise holly Qur'an with tajweed, hadith, fiqhu,arabic languge, english language,and lear how to read and write arabic and english language. the propriator of the school is a hard worker, he is the principal of Abdullahi Maimasallaci College of Qur'anic studis U/gini Kano,and he is the member of gwale Local Government shriah commitee, he also the member of Dala local government hisba committee, he is he imam of Gangaren zango mosque Ayagi Quators kano,he is also ths chief imam of the sahatussibyan mosque. he is one of the Ayagi Quators leaders, he is amoung the people who are help people in various part. The school has morethan hundred of teachers and it has three parts, secondery school from JIS 1 to SIS 3, but it name is college of qur'anic studies ayagi kano. it is opening from 7:00am to 2:00pm. The primary which it divided into two parts, morning and evening. morning from 8:00am to 2:00pm,and the evening from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, so all are doing same subject between morning and evening session.

On 3rd February 1903 British forces finally seized Kano. Kofar Kabuga [lit.Gate of..you hit]or the gate you hit [ka buga] was the gate through which the forces finally broke through with cannon. the full meaning was an insult to the British [kofar 'Ka buga uwar ka']- gate where 'you hit your mother', - this is what the women shouted at the soldiers from the ramparts during the siege whenever they hit the gate with cannon. I'm from Kano and only learnt this facinating history in August 08 when I visited home after 10 years. I also took photos of the gate which is preserved in the Gidan Makama museum in Kano.
